Yeah, the title pretty much sums up how amazing these are :) Super amazing, they taste similar to Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, because he puts in extra peanut butter. They are SOO good, and stay soft for a long time!! (I don't know how long they stay soft... At least a day or two. They don't really last that long around our apartment. They're too yummy.)
So, here's the recipe the whole world has been waiting for!!! TA-DA!!! :D
Ingredients:
2 cups sugar (feel free to have them just a little bit overflowing)
4 TBS cocoa
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups peanut butter (MUST BE CREAMY)
1 TBS vanilla
3 1/2 cups oatmeal
waxed paper or non-stick cookie sheets
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan at medium-ish temperature, bring to boil the sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk. Let boil for 1 minute then add peanut butter and vanilla. Stir until completely melted. Then stir in the oatmeal. On the waxed paper or non-stick cookie sheets, drop in whatever size you want to eat them in and let them cool.
